Submission Info:
Non  SSA  Members  are required to pay a festival submission/coordinating fee prior to being scheduled for the fest. This fee goes towards event coordinating cost, promotion and advertising expenses, production costs and other misc. expenses that are necessary to guarantee that this event is a success. Below you have the option to either pay the fee or waive this fee by signing up as an SSA Member or renew your previous membership. If you registered last year as a member to perform at the festival you should renew your SSA membership now. We greatly appreciate everyone cooperation in paying these registration or renewal fees promptly.

Compensation:
The goal is is to give every artist that participates in the festival revenue potential opportunities. One of the SSA's objective's is to create revenue streams for original music artist. All acts scheduled to perform at the event are given event tickets. Current SSA Members receive 15 Tickets ($150 value) and Non SSA Members receive 5 Tickets ($50 Value) which you can sell for 100% profit. All acts can also sell an unlimited amount of tickets thereafter for 40% commission. Acts also receive 20% commission on all program ads or event sponsorship refereed. Acts can also obtain individual sponsorship for there act and receive $175.   For more information on this program email phil@ssa.cc

FEST RULES:
*No Profanity on any family oriented stages. 
*Sets should comprise of at least 80% of Original Material (this generally translates to one cover song per 40 min set)
*All acts should arrive at least one hour prior to scheduled set times.
* Event Tickets Sales is prohibited  on the day of the event any where throughout the festival other then at the main gate or pre approved event ticket outlet .
* Acts should have all equipment properly marked in case items are lost or stolen.
* Alcohol (open containers) is prohibited on the public sidewalks along Woodland Blvd and other adjacent streets. .

SSA 2009 Music Awards:    All current or previous SSA members are eligible to receive SSA 2009 DELAND MUSIC FESTIVAL Awards which will be announced at the festival. Newly registered acts for the festival are also eligible to receive awards if registered before Oct20th 2009
