The SSA will begin to hold a
series of Song Camps throughout FL. (3-4 per year.) The main mission
of these camps is to unite together other musicians and songwriters
in a casual camping like environment. When we put on the large city
festivals its hard to be able to sit down and get to know the
festival participants being we are so busy taking care of the events
tasks at hand. These camps are designed to do just the opposite. We
want them to basically require no work at all other then what you
would have to do to prepare for a night of camping out at a park or
campground. We simply want to be able to sit back and relax and get
to spend some good quality time with other songwriters and
musicians.
Saturday June 21st

Ormond Beach, FL 32174
GROUP CAMP
We have reserved the group camping area at the
park.
It is a primitive camping area however does have space for
1-3 RV's. (no hook ups.)
It has one bathroom and shower.
Camping
areas will be set up in a circle formation
with a two 10x15 pop
tents in the center area for campfire jams.
The cost per adult
is $5 which you can pay when you arrive.
You do not need to stay
overnight if you do not prefer to do so.
INDIVIDUAL CAMPSITES
You also can reserve a regular campsite if you wish.
These sites
include full electric hookup and sewage.
This area also has two
nearby large bathroom facilities with multiple showers.
The cost for these sites are $25 which you would pay online on the state
park website.
This camping area is approx. a 5-10min walk from
the group camping area depending on the location of your
reserved space.
The spaces on the north end of the reserved
camping area would be closest to the group camp site.
